“Aleppo Cuisine” is a social enterprise established by Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (“Aleppo” NGO) with the aim to create employment opportunities for Syrian women, protect labor rights of Syrian refugees and ensure their economic and social integration into the Armenian society as well.
The enterprise has been funded and supported by a host of individuals and organizations from around the world: The territory of the Center has been acquisited with the support of St. Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church of Houston-Texas headed by Mr. Vreij Kolandjian.
The Embassy of Japan in Armenia and Dr. and Mrs. Österbauer-Tanielian made donations for the renovation and construction of the Center.
Aleppo Cuisine has been provided with technical equipment and furniture by GIZ Armenia.
After the establishment of the Center Caritas Armenia and Caritas Austria, AGBU Armenia, European Union and Eurasia Partnership Foundation have provided financial assistance for the activity of Aleppo Cuisine Center.
Aleppo Cuisine is a social enterprise that provides catering service and culinary trainings designed not only for chefs, but also for tourists who want to get acquainted and cook Western Armenian dishes. Aleppo Cuisine designates 100% of its net profits to the socio-economic betterment of vulnerable populations in Armenia.
