“Aleppo” CCO launched Western Armenian language classes for children

On February 7th, 2016, the “Aleppo” Compatriotic Charitable Non-governmental organization and “Dzil” Art Center launched Western Armenian language Sunday classes for children 6-14 of age. This event was held on the same day as Pun Paregentan Festival celebrations.

As a result of this celebration the participating kids used Western Armenian games and songs to familiarize themselves with the holiday and its traditions.

With the importance of the new generation in keeping the Western Armenian dialect, its use and teaching, “Aleppo” organization and “Dzil” art center will provide an opportunity for children to perfect the Western Armenian dialect using games, songs, dance and play.

The classes will take place every Sunday, 11:00-14:00, at “Aleppo” organization’s new location, at Vartanants 8A.
