On September 16, 2016, Syrians settled in Armenia had the opportunity to participate in a free training on the topic of the “Financial system of Armenia” organized at the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization.

The training was organized by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation within the framework of the “Economic integration of the Syrians in Armenia” program funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The overall aim of the program is to stimulate the process of the economic integration of the Syrians settled in Armenia. During the training, the participants had the opportunity to acquire knowledge on financial sector, as well as were introduced to the current distinctive features of the financial sector in Armenia.
