On September 27, 2016, a free training on the topic of the “Financial system of Armenia” was organized at the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization for Syrian families. The training was organized by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation within the framework of the “Economic integration of the Syrians in Armenia” program funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The training aims at promoting financial education among Syrian families settled in Armenia, as well as improving the level of the awareness of the Syrian families in the current financial system of the country, and stimulating the effective management of the personal finances.

This time, too, the participants of the training were involved in an active discussion. During the training, they acquired vital knowledge on how to defend their rights in the financial field, how to save money having little income and large expenses and how to benefit from financial services and banking system of Armenia. Satisfied, the participants of the training left the class with new knowledge.
