On October 25, 26 and 28, 2016, free trainings on the topic of the “Financial system of Armenia” were organized at the center of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization.

The trainings are organized by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation within the framework of the “Economic integration of the Syrians in Armenia” program funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The trainings provided Syrian families who are currently settled in Armenia with information on the current financial system of Armenia, as well as introduced the differences between financial systems in Armenia and Syria.

The participants of the free classes learned how to more effectively manage their personal budgets, how to use bank cards and implement effective saving system, as well as how to avoid fraudulent financial services.

Active discussions took place during the trainings, and the participants left the class with more confidence being informed on the features of the financial system of Armenia.
