On December 20 and 22, 2016, free trainings on the topic of the “Financial system of Armenia” were organized at the center of the Aleppo NGO. The trainings are organized by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation within the framework of the “Economic integration of the Syrians in Armenia” program funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The “Financial system of Armenia” trainings aim at providing Syrians settled in Armenia with basic knowledge on the banks operating in Armenia, as well as on the operation of the current financial system of the country, since there are several peculiarities and differences between the financial systems of Armenia and Syrian.

Among the main topics discussing during the trainings are effective personal budget management, bank accounts and debit cards, savings, protection of your interest, protection from financial fraud and other topics related to the financial sector.
