Two Syrians Relocated to Armenia Through “Save a Life” Project

On August 14, 2017, Marlin Shakra and Mardiros Koujmian were relocated from Aleppo to Armenia within the framework of the “Save a Life” project of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization-NGO (Aleppo-NGO).

Representatives of the Aleppo-NGO welcomed them at the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan. Their relocation from Aleppo to Armenia was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation.

Aleppo-NGO’s “Save a Life” project has been operating since May 2015. The initiative aims to support Syrians who find themselves in a difficult financial situation and request Aleppo-NGO’s help to purchase a one-way ticket to Armenia.
