Socio-Psychological Assistance Meetings with Guest Speaker Hagop Makdis Resume

On June 15th, 2018, Socio-Psychological Assistance meetings resumed at of Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization-NGO (Aleppo-NGO).

Hagop Makdis returned to present the attendees with more interesting information regarding our representational systems. He presented the three different learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic, and helped them determine which style they use the most.

In order to make the session more interactive, Makdis asked the participants to share some stories regarding their childhood, recent travels, or some recent activities. Using these stories Makdis told the participants which trait was the most dominant in their personality. This made the participants very eager to participate and to share stories during the presentation. Overall this was a fun experience for the women and it was very informative at the same time.

The free, socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.

The meetings take place every Friday at the Aleppo-NGO office. The address is 11 Northern Avenue, -1 floor.
