Emotional Intelligence and Its Affects on Our Lives

On 15 February 2019, Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO), within the framework of the “Social-psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees” project, hosted psychologist Ashkhen Mkoyan. Ms. Mkoyan is the Founding Director of the Harmony Psychological Center.

The topic of the guest lecture was  about Emotional Intelligence (El): how to use one’s own emotions in life as a resource and what role they have in our lives.

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to understand, manage, and effectively express one’s own emotions and feelings.

In the end, participants were able get important questions answered about emotional intelligence and how they can use it as a supportive tool.

As a reminder, the free socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.

At the meetings, the priest (APD) and various speakers give lectures.
The meetings take place every Friday at the Aleppo-NGO office.
The address is 11 Northern Avenue, -1 floor (entrance from Abovyan street).
