The Value of Christian Morality in Everyone’s Life
On 1 March, 2019, Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO) organized a regular meeting to provide social-psychological support to Syrian refugees sheltered in Armenia.
The guest speaker of the meeting is the well-known, spiritual pastor, Fr. Pargev Palgevorgyan of Saint Hakob Church of the Araratian Pontifical Diocesein in the Mrgavan village. As usual, he began the meeting with a prayer.
Fr. Pargev spoke about the value of Christian morality and sin. He lectured on how we perceive it as Christians and the different sins a person can have.
“Christian morality is very important։ it teaches us to live the right way.”
“Morality is a value that each individual, regardless of his or her religion and nationality, must have in his or her life.”
“Being devoid of morality, in itself, is a sin.”
As a reminder, the free socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.
At the meetings, the priest and various speakers give lectures.
The meetings take place every Friday, at Aleppo-NGO office.
The address is 11 Northern Avenue, -1 floor (entrance from Abovyan street).
