On June 22 and 23, 2019 Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization’s (Aleppo-NGO) handicraft committee participated in “Creating Together” two-day Charity Exhibition-fair that was held in Yerevan and was dedicated to the World Refugee Day. The exhibition-fair was organized within the framework of “Recognise. Protect. Realise.” project funded by the European Union with the assistance of Yerevan Municipality.

At the exhibition-fair the handicraft committee presented handicraft works and beautiful jewelry decorated with unique Western Armenian embroidery style.

The aim of the exhibition-fair is to contribute to the economic development of Syrian-Armenians and local people and promote social-cultural integration.

The exhibition-fair was organized within the framework of “Recognise. Protect. Realise.” Project funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by the “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent NGO, Caritas Austria and Caritas Lebanon. The general aim of the project is to contribute to the protection of human rights of asylum seekers, refugees and persons with refugee status in Armenia and Lebanon protecting,  respecting and promoting human rights.
