Aleppo Cuisine Center Participates in the “Wedding Party” Exhibition

On June 29, 2019, the Aleppo Cuisine Center, established by the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO), participated in the “Wedding Party” Exhibition at Prime Hall Restaurant Complex dedicated to the promotion of Armenian traditional wedding rituals and the preservation of Armenian cultural values. The event was organized by GMG Media Group, International Business Relations Support Council, Prom Expo LLC and Prime Hall Restaurant Complex.

More than 60 companies participated in the exhibition-sale representing their products and services and a real wedding ceremony took place in the yard of the restaurant complex.

The Aleppo Cuisine Center provided a wide variety of Eastern meals. Participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the unique and different products and the main mission of the Center.

The Aleppo Cuisine Center will soon launch its culinary training courses, which is developed and organized within the framework of the Bridge for CSOs project led by AGBU Armenia in partnership with the Eurasia Partnership Foundation and funded by the European Union.

Aleppo Cuisine is a social enterprise established by Aleppo-NGO to create employment opportunities for Syrian refugees in Armenia. The enterprise has been funded and supported by a host of individuals and organizations from around the world, including AGBU Armenia, Caritas Armenia and Caritas Austria, the European Union, GIZ Armenia, St. Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church of Houston-Texas, the Embassy of Japan in Armenia, the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Mr. Vreij Kolandjian, Dr. and Mrs. Österbauer-Tanielian, and many others.
