On December 11, 2019, charity dinner was organized at Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization’s (Aleppo-NGO) office initiated by Syrian-Armenian women.
The dinner launched with the welcome speech of Tania Baboghlian, member of the Women’s Council. Tania Baboghlian presented the prehistory of New year, the ways of New year celebrations by pagan Armenians, the main significance of the holiday in different countries. 
The meeting was accompanied with warm atmosphere and Christmas wishes. The main treat of the day was Ghaurma, traditional Armenian dish.
Afterwards, lottery tickets were distributed to the participants, and the winners were given Christmas souvenirs.
The profits from the charity dinner will serve to the provision of humanitarian assistance to Syrian-Armenian vulnerable families. We express our gratitude to the Women’s Council for organizing the event and providing festive atmosphere at Aleppo-NGO.
