The main topic of the day was devoted to one of the most important branches of Armenian Art – Manuscripts and Bibliography, presented by Dr. Mayda Chavoushian.

“The handwritten spiritual and scholarly literature created in Armenian medieval monastic educational centers is one of the unique arts in the world created by our Writers and Illustrators. They, in contrast to other civilizations, have created the parchment, where was written our history, literature, medical, philosophical, scientific rules, and laws.  This wealth is found in various Armenian centers around the world, as well as in the “Matenadaran” of Yerevan, where the largest collection is located.

The attendees followed the theme with great interest and expressed their appreciation for the importance of the diverse issues raised during the gatherings. At the end of the meeting, the members were served with coffee and pies provided by the Aleppo Cuisine center. The meeting ended with the warm greetings of farewell.
