Within the framework of the “Better Future for Syrian Armenian Youth” project, funded by the WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation and implemented by Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO), fourteen Syrian youth who have a background in accounting, finance and business management are participating in a 3-month accounting training course held at the Educational Planet training center.
The training course, which commenced in early March 2019, is designed to introduce accountants and business majors to the taxation laws of the Republic of Armenia as well as train them to use the “Armenian Software” program commonly used by professional accountants and business owners to accurately manage their accounting and provide accurate reports to the State Revenue Committee.
Moreover, the Accounting courses cover a variety of topics that will provide participants with a complete understanding of accounting procedures, techniques and concepts. Students will be assessed through practical tests and skills based assignments.
