On March 5, 2017, the next meeting of the SKYE Youth Club formed by Syrian and local youth took place at the center of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable NGO.
To remind, the SKYE Youth Club was created within the framework of the “Skills and Knowledge for Youth Economic-empowerment” project, initiated by World Vision Armenia and financed by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the U.S. Department of State.
Launched by the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable NGO in cooperation with World Vision Armenia, the project brings together Syrian and local youth in Armenia.
This time, the meeting was dedicated to self-knowledge. The members of the youth club had the opportunity to reflect on strong and weak sides of their personality, as well as talked about self-knowledge and outlined their goals.
The speakers of the day, coordinators of the SKYE Youth Club Hovsep Grigoryan and Karen Balkhian, organized an interactive and educational meeting, during which the participants adopted a new attitude towards their abilities and personal aspirations.
Within the framework of the meeting, the youth participants of the SKYE Club also developed a personal timetable and a self-description, as well as acquired comprehensive knowledge on Benjamin Franklin’s 13 Virtues.
