On March 4, 2017, Syrian children were gathered together again at the center of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable NGO within the framework of the organization’s Center for Syrian children and youth.
Under the guidance of skilled teachers, children and youth are getting ready for the Feast of Resurrection (Easter), preparing handicraft items dedicated to one of the five major feasts of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
During the meeting, children also shared stories in Arabic language, and then translated them into Armenian. Syrian children and youth also participated in various games as part of the activities of the Center.
The teachers and coordinators of the Center for Syrian children and youth play an important role in its activities. Nairi Shekoyan, Siranush Gumruyan, Vardeni Diraryan, Araz Shekoyan and Hena Aposhlyan do not spare their efforts and vigor in organizing quality leisure time for Syrian children and youth settled in Armenia.
Initiated by Aleppo CCO, the Center for Syrian children and youth aims at providing Syrian children with knowledge and skills vital for the development of personality.
