Major Goal: To provide Arabic language classes for beginners.

Description: In May 2015, Aleppo-NGO, in close partnership with the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (DVV International Armenia Branch), launched Arabic language classes for beginners.

Over 20 individuals enrolled in this program throughout its duration. Attendees were provided with beginner level Arabic language instruction at no cost. This project worked to bridge educational and cultural gaps identified in the community, both reconnecting young Syrians to their language and providing locals with insight to the origins of their refugee neighbors. Classes were delivered once a week for two hours at the office of Aleppo-NGO in Yerevan.
