Major Goal: Enable Syrian, Iraqi, and other youth refugee demographics in Armenia with the skills and qualifications to advance themselves in a professional setting, and apply this through the facilitation of scholarships and paid internships.
Description: The “Better Future for Syrian-Armenian Youth” project facilitated the integration of Syrian, Iraqi, and other displaced refugee youth that resettled in the Republic of Armenia by launching a series of programs ultimately leading towards a long term sustainable solution to the disparities faced by these young refugees.
The project instilled Christian and democratic values; developed the professional skills of the participants through capacity building activities; increased their employability and income generation capacities; and enabled them to overcome their socio-economic challenges through university scholarships and paid internships.
