American Armenian couple makes an important contribution to the cause of relocation of Syrian Armenian families to Armenia

In 2016, the wedding ceremony of Dr. Ara Chalian and Ms. Talar Cholakian took place in the United States of America. At the request of the couple, instead of the gifts the guests of the ceremony made monetary donations.

Later, the newly created family of the Chalians donated all the money raised during their wedding ceremony to the “Save a Life” project of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable NGO.

Thanks to the Chalians’ contribution to the Aleppo NGO’s initiative, 58 Syrian Armenians were relocated from Aleppo to Armenia, where they have a chance to start a new life, achieve their goals and dreams, and build a better future.

Mr. and Mrs. Chalian made a vital contribution to Aleppo NGO’s cause, saving the lives of those 58 people.

Dear Dr. Ara and Talar Chalian, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your sincere devotion and strong faith in the activities and mission of the Aleppo NGO. And we are grateful for your dedication and devotion to your fatherland, which definitely is a source of inspiration for many.
