“Arevik-Armenia” Center Resumes Its Activities

On September 4, 2017, with the beginning of the new academic year, the “Arevik-Armenia” Center for Syrian children with mental and physical disabilities of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization–NGO (Aleppo-NGO) resumed its activities.

From now on, along with the center’s teachers, a volunteer will be working at the center as part of the cooperation between Aleppo-NGO and Birthright Armenia. The volunteer will be conducting art-therapy classes for the center’s pupils.

The “Arevik-Armenia” Center provides Syrian children with mental and physical disabilities with long-lasting, free access to necessary inclusive education, care, mental and physical therapy and psychological assistance for their better involvement in civil life.
