Syrian Armenians once again need your help following the series of eathquakes over the past several weeks that have devastated a community that was already reeling from the impact of the ongoing conflict in Syria since 2011.
The February 2023 earthquakes have killed several Armenians, terrorized the community, and left thousands of people homeless and hopeless.
Over the past couple of weeks, hundreds of Armenians from Syria have reached out to Aleppo-NGO requesting different forms of assistance, including financial assistance and one-way tickets to Armenia.
To meet these new challenges, we’ve set up this campaign with a goal of $25,000 to deliver $50,000 in direct humanitarian relief assistance to our compatriots in Aleppo. The Gullabi Gulbenkian Foundation will match up to $25,000 raised by Aleppo-NGO, and representatives of both organizations will hand deliver the financial and other forms of assistance to Aleppo for distribution at the Virgin Gulbenkian Maternity Hospital owned by the Gullabi Gulbenkian Foundation in NY.
In addition to the $50,000 in urgent financial assistance we plan to deliver with your support, the Gullabi Gulbenkian Foundation, in collaboration with Aleppo-NGO, will provide an additional $50,000 in medical assistance to those in need in Aleppo through the Virgin Gulbenkian Maternity Hospital following the delegation’s arrival to Aleppo in May-June 2023.
With your help, Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization can reach this goal and continue the work we’ve set out to do in this campaign.
Please help if you can. Every donation makes a difference.
