A charity sale of dishes of Eastern cuisine in support of the “Arevik-Armenia” center for Syrian individuals with disabilities was organized at Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization on October 14, 2016.
The charitable initiative brought together chefs and gourmets of Eastern cuisine. Syrian women – participants of the event, were introducing the presented dishes, providing guests with information on recipes and cooking methods.
The proceeds from the charity sale will be donated to the “Arevik-Armenia” center for Syrian individuals with disabilities to secure its activities.
To remind, Aleppo CCO’s “Arevik-Armenia” center provides free assistance to Syrian individuals with physical and mental disabilities who have found shelter in Armenia, aiming at easing their everyday life and support their integration in civil life.
The individuals at “Arevik-Armenia” center receive free psychological assistance and special educational trainings, such us mathematics, painting, music, physical education, theater therapy, speech development and handicraft workshops. The classes are organized by a group of devoted teachers and staff members.
