On February 17, 2018, Syrian children gathered at the center of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization-NGO (Aleppo-NGO) for their weekly meeting.
The meeting started with one of the teachers reading a tale read in Arabic to the children, with a purpose to improve their Arabic language skills, followed by a discussion about the importance of water in our lives, which was the main subject of the tale.
Afterwards, the children played and learned new songs and poems about a very important topic – mothers. The children of the center are getting ready to put together a play dedicated to the International Mother’s Day in March.
Created by Aleppo-NGO, the Center for Syrian Children and Youth aims to provide Syrian children with the knowledge and skills vital for the development of their personalities.
Aleppo-NGO’s Center for Syrian Children and Youth has meetings every Saturday from 15:00 until 17:30 for youth aged 4 to 9 and 10 to 16 years old.
