On October 4,5,6, 2016, free trainings on the topic of the “Financial system of Armenia” were organized at the center of the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization for Syrian families.
The trainings are organized by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation within the framework of the “Economic integration of the Syrians in Armenia” program funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
There are several differences between financial systems in Armenia and Syria, and the trainings play an important role for Syrian families who found shelter in Armenia, informing the participants of the free classes on how they can manage their limited financial resources by distinguishing primary and secondary expenses, as well as how they can separate family and business expenditures. The participants of the trainings also learn how they can use the services provided by the banks of Armenia and how to be insured from various financial risks.
In a discussion that took place during the training, the participants compared the differences between financial systems of Armenia and Syria with the help of the trainers, as well as received appropriate answers to their questions. Satisfied, the participants of the training left the class with more confidence being informed on the features of the financial sphere of Armenia and knowing how to protect their rights when needed.
