Healthy Lifestyle in the Frameworks of “Social-psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees” Project

On 23 November, 2018, Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO) in the framework of socio-psychological assistance project for Syrian refugees in Armenia, hosted biologist Hasmik Sargsyan.  She has graduated from Yerevan State Medical University in the faculty of Biology. Presently she works at the Institute of Massage and Physiotherapy.

The guest speaker spoke about having a healthy lifestyle, healthy food and about overcoming illnesses. Ms. Sargsyan advisedhow to lead a healthy lifestyle by walking a lot, massages, healthy food and exercising.

The attendees had an interesting discussion with the guest speaker. They also spoke about their muscle cramps and got appropriate therapeutic advice. Syrian refugee women participating at the meeting also learned a series of exercises.

As a reminder, the free socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.

At the meetings, the priest (APD) and various speakers give lectures.
The meetings take place every Friday, at 16:00, at the Aleppo-NGO office.
