Presently, the field of Information technologies is one of the developing ones all over the world, thus, to be competitive, our young people must be constantly armed with new knowledge. Following the wide demand for IT Project managers, the Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO) and the WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation have already 2 months organizing an IT Project management training course for young people within the framework of the “Bright Future for Youth” project.
15 young Syrian and local Armenians are participating in the IT Project management training course, which has commenced on 21 October 2020. The course is being conducted by one of the best centers in the field- Quick Start Center.
The participants are workers of IT Project management field, who want to improve their theoretical knowledge, as well as beginners who are new in the field.
During the course, participants learn different components of the Project management and Agile methods used in the IT field. The trainings are accompanied by practical exercises.

The “Bright Future for Youth” project was launched in February 2020 and is being implemented by Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO) by the fund of the WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation. The project aims to improve the skills of Syrian, Iraqi, and other refugee, as well as local youth, provide them with new knowledge and skills and the opportunity to gain work experience through professional paid-internships. Within the framework of the project, scholarships are also provided to students( studying in a paid system) who have high academic performance and are in a socially vulnerable situation.
Taking into account the emergency situation caused by the COVID-19, the training courses are conducted online.
