On May 15, Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization had the honor to host Khatchig Mouradian, the Program Coordinator of the Armenian Genocide Program at the Center for the Study of Genocide, Conflict Resolution, and Human Rights at Rutgers University.
During the meeting, Aleppo CCO’s founding president Ani Balkhian presented comprehensive information about organization’s activities and introduced the ongoing programs that aim at the establishment of the Syrian community in Armenia.
Mr. Mouradian had the opportunity to visit Aleppo CCO’s “Arevik-Armenia” Center for mentally and physically disabled Syrian children and adults and get thoroughly acquainted with the center’s activities on-site.
Khatchig Mouradyan’s visit also coincided with Western Armenian language classes that take place at Aleppo CCO. Teachers and Syrian children participants of the classes had the chance to meet with Mr. Mouradian.
Highly appreciating the efforts carried out by the Aleppo CCO in and outside of Armenia for the establishment of the Syrian community, Mr. Mouradian expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the organization’s executive body and wished Aleppo CCO success in its pious cause.
