Language of Flowers is in the Focus of the Program “Social-psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees”

On 28 September, 2018, in the framework of the program “Social-psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees,” Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo-NGO) hosted the flower expert Marlen Daragyozian. She received her degree in Lebanon and now continues her studies in Yerevan.

The guest speaker presented the types of flowers to the participants. The participants were given an opportunity to learn about the meaning of flowers. Also, Mrs. Daragyozian presented the proper care of plants, particularly the fight against parasites, and the secret of keeping the flower fresh and flourishing in winter.

As a reminder, the free socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.

At the meetings, the priest (APD) and various speakers give lectures. The meetings take place every Friday at the Aleppo-NGO office. The address is 11 Northern Avenue, -1 floor (entrance from Abovyan street).
