On December 19, 2015 Syrian-Armenian youth are organizing a visit to the Mary Izmirlian Orphanage to give small gifts and great joy to the orphans, as well as to make the coming New Year a bit warmer and happier for the children.
This voluntary initiative is being carried out within the framework of the project “The Syrian-Armenian Youth for a Better Future” of “Aleppo” Compatriotic Charitable Organization. The project is funded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Armenia.
Taking part in educational courses of the project, namely “Social responsibility” and “Volunteering”, the Syrian-Armenian youth were able to realize and undertake the whole sense of social responsibility, thus they came up with a number of voluntary initiatives implementing the ideas that were the result of the above mentioned trainings.
Building a better future in Armenia, the Syrian-Armenian young people put in all their efforts to make the orphans’ Christmas wishes come true, as well as to contribute to the improvement of social conditions of local poor families.
