One Armenia and Aleppo NGO bring together 200 Syrian children in Armenia
On December 28, 2016, the “Santas Wanted” program – an initiative of the One Armenia non-profit organization – was brought to life with the support of the Aleppo NGO. The program was a unique gift to Syrian children who are settled in Armenia.
Within the framework of the program, 200 Syrian children received Christmas gift packages worth $100 each. The gifts included warm winter clothes, jackets, scarves, winter footwear, books, “Ayl Kerpik” board game and honey.
A Christmas celebration with music and dances, interesting games, exhibition-sale and festive treats was organized for Syrian children, during which they received the gift packages.
Children played various games and took photos with Santa Claus, carrying sweet childhood memories with them.
The “Santas Wanted” program will continue in 2017, too, offering Christmas gifts to over 90 Syrian children.
Highly appreciating and noting the importance of the “Santas Wanted” Christmas initiative for Syrian children, the Aleppo NGO expresses its deepest gratitude to One Armenia organization for their initiative vital for Syrian kids.
