On 8 May 2020, members of the “Social Psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees” project, held its first online meeting on “Zoom” after a pause because of COVID-19.
The first online meeting under the emergency situation took place with the participation of 17 members.
Co-founding Vice President of Aleppo-NGO, Dzovig Makarian-Baitarian, welcome the members and was informed about their health and concerns.
The participants expressed their love and longing for the organization and the given program.
Dr. Mayda Chavoushian, a volunteer member of the Coordinating Body of the “Social Psychological Assistance to Syrian Refugees” once again introduced the means of infection of COVID-19 and the methods of protection.
As a reminder, the free socio-psychological assistance meetings at Aleppo-NGO provide support to Syrians who went through the war and find themselves experiencing psychological side effects, helping them to recover and become actively involved in the civil life of Armenia.
During these meetings, lecturers of different professions are invited to share their knowledge and experience with the participants.
The meetings take place every Friday at 13:00, at Aleppo-NGO’s office. The address is 11 Northern Avenue, -1 floor (entrance from Abovyan street).
The meetings are free for participation.
Due to the coronavirus, under the emergency situation, the meetings are being organized online.
